Taunton Round Table membership offers young men aged 18 to 45 a dynamic platform for personal growth, community involvement, and social connections. Members, known as “Tablers,” engage in a diverse range of activities, from charitable projects to social events.

What makes Taunton Round Table so rewarding?

First and foremost, it offers a chance to actively contribute to the local community through meaningful charitable projects and volunteer work.

It provides a supportive network of like-minded individuals, fostering lasting friendships and personal growth. Taunton Round Table also encourages leadership and organisational skills development, which can be invaluable in both personal and professional life.

Furthermore, the diverse range of social events and activities ensures a fun and fulfilling social calendar (including several annual family/partner events). Overall, membership in Taunton Round Table offers a unique opportunity to give back, grow as an individual, and enjoy a vibrant social life.

Meetings, fees and general information

Taunton Round Table members meet on the first, third and fifth (if there is one) Tuesday of the month. Appreciating we all have busy lives, we work towards a 60% attendance requirement.

The cost of membership is currently £57 per month (Apr 2024/25). The fee directly covers the activities you partake in each month. We work to this budget each year to experience a wide range of social activities.

The charity is made up of various roles and committees including: Chair, Vice Chair, President, Treasurer, Secretary, Finance and Projects, Community Service, Programme, Social, PR & Comms, 41 Club Liaison, International Liaison Officer, general members and more. Each year we rotate our roles to ensure fresh-thinking is brought to the various committees.
